The Bereavement Co-ordinators work within the Social Work Team and there to ensure the smooth running of procedures following the sad loss of a baby. They will liaise with all departments within the hospital, funeral directors and Pathology staff. They make sure that the necessary paperwork is completed and available when required ensuring the safe transfer to the Pathology Department and return to Liverpool Women's Hospital following post mortem.
