Infertility in Gynaecology Outpatients

This is usually the first place that couples attend for basic investigations of their fertility.

Infertility is defined as the inability to conceive within one year of regular intercourse without the use of contraceptives. Most couples are advised to seek medical help after one year.

We do stress that regardless of the person referred for investigation, we would prefer it that both partners attend the clinic.

There are two Gynaecologists who specialise in the investigation and treatment of fertility problems:
Mr Kingsland sees patients in his Wednesday morning clinic.
Mr Gazvani holds his clinic on a Tuesday afternoon.
In addition, Dr Lewis Jones, Consultant in Andrology (male fertility) holds 3 clinics a week in the department. These are held on a Monday and Tuesday morning and Thursday afternoon.
